Last Call to Check Out Tonight’s Matches.

My vote for match of the day, in terms of importance and what a win or loss could do in either result, is San Lorenzo vs. Caracas FC. Both teams have a ton to lose should they not get a favorable result. The match is LIVE on FSE at 3:30, PST., so like, right now. Do it, turn on your TV. Check here for my preview on this match. The 5th match of the day is Real Potosi vs. Cruzeiro, played simultaneously with San Lorenzo-Caracas FC, for which there will be no TV. I did write a preview of it, please read it, I’m not writing these for my health.

Later, at 6pm, you can watch San José take on Chivas in the high altitude stadium in Oruro. Chivas will be facing a bit of an uphill battle but should they win, they stand a pretty good chance of qualifying. Match is on Fox Sports Español LIVE at 6pm PST. You can find my preview of this match here.

Played simultaneously so as to not inadvertently give any teams an advantage, Santos FC host Cúcuta in Brazil. Santos need the win but they do have some options should they fail to do so. Look for the possibilities here. Match is on Fox Sports Español taped delay at 10pm PST.

Last match of the day, for you night owls with no lives, is Libertad hosting Arsenal de Sarandi. Match is on Fox Sports Español tape delay at 12am, PST. Not much at stake in this match as both teams are already eliminated before the whistle. They look to compete in their local leagues from here on out and hope for a place in next year’s Copa Libertadores. After that spectacular sales pitch, check my preview for it here. I promise it’s worth your while.
As always, feel free to check the CONMEBOL website for results, standings and upcoming matches. They don’t update it as often as I’d like them to but the way they organize it makes more sense to me than anywhere else you can find it.
