Eliminated Libertad Hosts the Qualified LDU Quito.
By: Mauro | April 8th, 2008Libertad vs. LDU Quito (Estadio Defensores del Chaco, Asuncion, Paraguay)

Eliminated Libertad host qualified LDU Quito in a match where there’s not much to play for. Anything that happens here in this match won’t change the outcome of the group or the qualified teams. Both teams will most likely field sides mixed with players from their benches and habitual starters. Edgardo Bauza’s team is focusing on the Ecuadorian championship as Libertad have now changed their focus to the Paraguayan championship.

Bottom line: Nothing to play for here. Keep moving… nothing to play for… but if I had to wager, LDU Quito can’t really care about this one so I’m thinking Libertad will win because they are the local team. Period. My pick: 2-1 to Libertad.
And wouldn’t you know it, it is getting TV coverage. Thanks FSE! If you care, the match starts at 6:30 pm on FSE, it’s live, of course.
